what i've been up to...

so i just finished two more applications for summer shows. its a bit of a crazy time right now, cause all of the summer/fall applications are due/due soon, plus i'm working on some new items, plus i'm still working two other jobs, plus i'm revamping the website and shop! crazy. but good! i'll be showing you some pictures of the new work soon!

application time...

so its that time of the year, when all the applications for the summer and fall shows have to go in. i was working on a few today, and had a nice time going thru all of the photos i've taken of my work in the last year. made me notice how much i've accomplished, and how i have and haven't changed in certain ways. i know one thing, i can't wait to see how all of my work comes together in the next few months.

happy valentines day! i hope its a good one for everyone. i don't have much planned other than work and then an evening at home with my man friend, but that sounds just about perfect to me!

a night of cupcakes...

i spent the evening at my friends house making some cupcakes that shes gonna have at a bridal show this weekend. she just started up this awesome cupcake business, the boombox bakeshop, and caters cupcakes for parties and events, and now for weddings/engagement parties etc! i'm pretty excited, and the cupcakes look soo good! i'll show you more pictures after the show! (we even made conversation heart ones!)

new mittins...

so i finished these new mitts quite awhile ago, but realized i hadn't shown them to you. i'm really loving this pair, they are super warm and i love that they are neutral and go with any of my coats. i picked up the super soft alpaca for them over a year ago when i was on a trip, and i'm so glad that this is what i decided to knit it into! i feel like spring might be coming (!!!) but i'm gonna wear these warm little guys until then!!
