new items in the shop!

some of my new work is finally available in my shop! i'm really excited to get some of my work out there into peoples hands and around your lovely necks! i currently have the grey/black scarves available, and hope to have more colours soon! if anyone is interested in a specific colour feel free to email me and we can work something out! same goes for the embroidered pendants, they will be available in any colour.

bracelets...

so i made some fun bracelets last night. i was in a crafty mood, and i wanted to make something that was a quicker process than the embroidery i've been working on. these are fun little projects, inspired by the diy's on Honestly...WTF, with some pieces of my own fabric and some colours i've been working with lately. i gave one to the best friend last night and she laughed at me when i told her i had a friendship bracelet for her! but she loved it!

new work...

so i've been stitching away the last few days. this is one of my new, smaller pieces. they aren't quite as time consuming as the larger pieces (like the b/w one at the bottom) which is nice! i'm going to be putting this little guy up in my shop, with more colours to come soon! if anyone is interested in one in a specific colour just let me know!!

so i'm in love with all of the diy's over at HonestlyWTF lately. and i love this one they showed today! brings me back to bracelet making at camp!

so a few weeks ago i won a giveaway from Upper Metal Class, from the blog Moon Face. I got this lovely pair of earrings just a few days ago, and i totally love them! they are simple and sweet, and are probably going to be my new everyday pair.

how adorable are these shirts for the summer!? i wish it was the right weather to wear these out right now, but sadly there is still a bit of snow here. but a girl can dream right! ohh and i tried on all kinds of summer clothes yesterday and bought a pair of shorts, clearly i can't wait for the warm weather!

gorilla perfume...

i got a super cute box of Lush's new Gorilla Perfume last week from the best friend, also know as the Lush Fairy (cause she works for Lush!). and the perfume is great! and comes in this adorable little box! theres 8 little bottles, which can all be mixed and matched. i love Lush products, i'm not a product person, but when it comes to Lush i love it all!

drawing time...

you know whats sad? i don't even know the last time i used my pencil crayons! isn't that crazy. i guess its cause im more of a watercolour girl. i had to do a booth design for one of my show applications, and actually had a really good time drawing it all out the other night. now lets just hope i get in!

i got some more scarves dyed and printed this weekend. and i really love the colours that i got. i've been working with some different dyes than i normally use, so its always a bit of a surprise to see what comes out! i have quite a bit of new work, including some jewelry pieces, that i'll show you later this week.

so two of my most lovely friends are having a joint birthday party this weekend, with a masquerade theme! i'm really excited, but have not finalized my outfit/mask yet. does anyone have any suggestions?!

hey ladies! sorry for the lack of blogging the last few days. i had a nice relaxed weekend with the man, my best friend and my roommates, and since then have been focusing on school work. i have a bunch of application deadlines coming up soon that are taking up all of my time! but hopefully good things will come out of all the work put into them. the applications are for some awards and some shows that i really hope to be a part of in the next few months. so fingers crossed!

so i printed two new scarves tonight! (the ones on the sides). the prints are my two new screens, and i'm really happy with the way they turned out! i'm excited to print more. hopefully I'll get more printed on the weekend, I'm waiting on an order of scarves so I really hope it comes tomorrow!
