so inspiring...

i just came across this amazing artist via Pretty Zoo. these rocks are paintings! the artist Carly Waito photographs the precious rocks and then renders them in oil paint. i couldn't believe that they were paintings at first. i am amazed by the detail and realism. gorgeous.

trangle love: for the house...

so we moved on sunday! and now we're trying to get all settled and unpacked in the new house. and there are so many things i want to do! like paint. quite a few of the rooms. and decorate! i just came across these gorgeous shelves via Moorea's blog, and i love them. i think that they would look great in the living room, we want to paint in either a light mint or grey, and we have nice dark grey/blue couches that these would look great above.

so since my good camera cord is lost in the shuffle of the move, i've been taking more photos on my iphone the last bit. heres some bits of my life the last few weeks of shows and hanging out with friends. hope your all having a good start to the week!

so i just received a copy of a magazine i was featured in, and i'm pretty excited about it! i had seen the article online a few weeks ago, but its always so much better to see the print copy. it is an article about 8 emerging artists in my home town. if you want, you can check it out here .

open house night...

so life has been super crazy lately! i'm working 2 jobs, working for myself, and some really exciting news: we're moving next week!! me and my boyfriend bought a house and we're getting our new keys in one week!
and i've been busy in the studio this week getting for an Open House i'm having of my work tonight. i'll take some pictures and let ya all know how it goes!
ohh and i got some pictures taken of the printed tunics, and i cannot find my camera cord anywhere!! soooo annoying living out of boxes. so as soon as i find it i'll share them!
