My Etsy Shop!!

so my etsy shop has been up and running for about two weeks now! its exciting to see some of my stuff up there with all the other amazing work. so far the items listed are some of my older work from last year, and soon more recent things will be up! take a brows and hope you like it!
(ps if your someone who lives close and is interested in one of my items, just message me and we won't have to worry about the shipping costs!)

vintage camera...

so i went out to the flea market in Grand Bend this past weekend, and scored a sweet vintage Kodak Duaflex IV camera. its a fixed-focus camera, made form 1946-1960, and in pretty good condition! now i'll just have to see if it'll work, and if i can even get some film for it!

gloomy day...

so its a bit of a rainy day here at home, and the bf left me for the morning, so i went for a walk to the parentals. and it was wet. and i want some rain boots really bad! i would really like the teal Hunter boots the most, but with a $140 price tag, there is no way that they will be mine. so im on the search for some boots that i actually can afford.
but i like all of these ones!

so only 48 hours from right now im gonna be on a bus to NYC!!!!!!!!!! im so excited. if you couldn't tell.

a little underwater inspiration...

so the family and i were out for a road trip on the weekend, and we went to this funny, little museum in sarnia, called something along the lines of 'stones and bones'. and at first, thinking that it would be totally lame (there was a ton of tee shirts outside on a table covered in dinosaurs) i wanted to stay in the car with the new puppy, but instead went inside. and actually really enjoyed it. i wasn't really into all the stuffed animals and dino bones, but they had an amazing collection of shells, crabs and coral! it was really cool. im really into soft oranges and peaches right now, and almost all of the collection was in this colour scheme! there will defiantly be getting lots of inspiration for some summer work projects from my pictures from the museum!

so i've been playing on etsy a lot this week, and came across this shop, Maja Backstrom, full of really pretty black and white prints. i really like the prints, with their slight retro feeling of old traditional prints, mixed with trendy imagery. super cute!

some amazing maps...

so we all know i love maps, and im slightly obsessed with new york right now, and i came across these cut out maps today by Karen from Studio K. i think that they're amazing! i would absolutely never ever have the patience to do something like this!! but i think that they're pretty awesome!
